Receiver Hitch (hidden)

Hello all,

I am looking for a receiver hitch, preferrably hidden, for my 1961 F-100. It has a roll pan on the rear. Does anyone have a clue on a manufacturer and part number that will bolt up? Even a website would be nice......

I have seen this done and I will be doing it on my 66 4X4, but do not have a part # for it. Try a local trailer hitch sales to see if they have one that bolts inbetween the frame rails and would center to your roll pan.

I have one on my '65, I think it's a Valley brand. Should be the same as a later bumpside truck. Provided the frame rail spacing on the 61-64 is the same as 65-66, it should work. It hangs below the stock bumper so would not interfere with a roll pan.

Wow........who knew! Among other custom things that have been done the this '61/'62, the previous owner custom built a hidden hitch on the truck already. Turns out I was under the truck lookin around and I noticed a heavy duty receiver that was welded in to the frame that comes out right behind the license plate. All I need is a hinged plate bracket. Man alive! Just saved me $300. That's all!
