hello everyone.,

I have the D3 for approx. 5 months. also have the pioneer reverse camera. Everything worked fine until last week. The way it is hooked up is per the instructions....I have only one curve ball thrown into the mix, which is I installed back up lights to my #4 aux. swithch....... This worked great cause they were also hooked up to my reverse lights... So when I flipped my number 4 switch to on the reverse lights would come on but it would also flip the stereo to the reverse camera....... This worked great cause if you were traveling down the road u could flip the switch to check your load while still driving.

Last week I had a 55w bulb burn out on the back up lights. I replaced both bulbs like it was recommeneded on the post for these back up lights. Now lights work but I could not get the camera to come on when the truck was in reverse or flipping the switch.

I played around with it yesterday disconnecting bulbs and checking fuses and didnt find anything. But got the camera to work when the truck was in reverse. But could not get it with flipping the switch. Below are the fuses I have checked.

Reverse lights
Aux. 4 switch
Looked at the resister attached to the reverse wire on the stereo and looked ok but do not completly know how to check that one........

You know you can view the reverse camera while driving without the need of a switch like you mentioned, don't you ? You access it from the map menu. See page 36 of your owners manual.
