I have one of those black fiberglass tonneau covers on my ford ranger. A few years ago I accidentally busted the lock on it when I didn't realize that my tonneau cover was frozen shut. I pulled up on the handle part of the lock and it busted. Anyway, is there a way I can find another lock that is just like the one I busted? Do any of you guys have one and know what I'm talking about? It basically locks the tonneau cover to the tailgate with a key. I have a lot of stuff in the bed of my truck right now and I don't want it getting stolen. Would the dealerships have something like that or should I try a junkyard? I would hope that I could just get a lock without having to get a whole new tonneau cover since the cover itself is still in decent shape. Tonneau covers aren't cheap anyway. Any advice you guys could give me would be much appreciated! Thanks!
