97 Ranger Xlt 4.ol Tach Install Help Please

I need to know where i connect my tach wire. i need to where... if i can get picture(s) It would help a lot

There is a tan and yellow wire in the main harness. This is your tach wire. Unfortunately I don't have pictures because I don't have your model Ranger. But that is the standard. You can either tap into this wire, or there may be a connector that does it for you. If in doubt, go to the tach manufacturers website to get wiring diagrams.
