Front springs sagging

Ive noticed my front ends starting to sag a good amount. The new shocks helped out at first but now its getting worse. What can I do to get the front end back up? I dont want to buy all new spring packs so is there an add a leaf that will give me the same affect? Will the springs that they use for the snowplow kit have any effect since they are stiffer springs?

I got the same problem, sagging front end. The leafs are bending a little upward in the middle. I was going for the leaf pack but i would still have bent leafs. I'll wait to see what everybody says. Bump^

A little upward? Hell, mine look just about upside down LOL- I think that's the way they're made, but I would like the front end level.

Anyone got suggestions? Go the cheaper route with an ebay shackle lift, or mid way with a spring pack, or the whole 9 yards with new springs?? And who to go with- Donahoe??? etc??

My stock front springs were completely clapped out, so I got the all-spring leveling kit from rough country. Very nicely done, even includes a new track bar, and for about 360 shipped, not a bad deal either (I think they may still have a 10%off deal still going on, too). truck now sits proper and rides so much better! I considered an add-a-leaf or a shackle kit, but it would only be band-aiding another shot part, so I spent a tad extra and did it right the first time.

BTW, when I got my old springs off and on the ground, they were shaped like W's... Too funny...

When I bought my truck last October the front end was sagging so bad it looked like a 2-wheel drive. The distance between the little rubber bumpers and the front axle was 1" on one side and 3/4 on the other. I was looking for new springs and/or a leveling kit and found a set of front springs on Craigslist. The guy said only 50k on them and he put a 6" lift on his truck. They were the same code as mine (V). I put them on (not fun by yourself) and that raised the front nicely,(about 3") rubber bumper to axle. Then I saw the shackle leveling kit on E-bay and put that on (raised the front to almost 5" rubber bumper to axle). Total spent $100. Last month I changed my rears to a set of B code springs (I had A-code) and added air bags and helwig anti sway bar 'cause I have a 11.5ft camper. Yesterday I put on a set of Bilsteins...I haven't driven it yet, but can't wait to test it out.
The truck looks totally different from when I bought it.
Total spent
50 front springs
50 rear springs
55 shackle kit
215 rear antisway bar
236 bilsteins
175 airbags
Total $781 to redo the whole suspension. I am happy, now the truck sits exactly how I pictured it...it only took 9 months.

I wouldn't mind a lift on the front, but I need to find a set for the rears. I just had the back end of the drivers side #3 spring, (From the bottom) fall out. You can see it had been broken for some time with the rust on the end.

I forgot to add that I have a 2in lift on the truck, I know nothing about it I was just told it was there when I bought the truck and it does sit higher than stock so I belived the guy at the dealership. There are blocks in the rear but have no clue whats in the front, but I will check this out today. the truck used to sit level 30,000 miles ago and there was very little tire rubbing, now its pretty bad.

Shackles I dont think will work for me, and the ebay spring pack just doesnt sit well with me... Can these springs be re-arched?? and would that do any good?

I know there is a spring shop here in Denver that does re-arching. Sometimes they may have a set already done in stock and you can trade in your old for the re-arched sets for a discount.

I highly recommend a leveling kit using spring pack. Shackles are just lifting your truck up on sagging springs. I used the spring pack the mounted under my existing springs which helped maintain a close to factory ride, strenthen the springs and lift the truck.
