second chance is starting off with a positive reputation.
Whats going on here?

What size injectors came out in a 95 F-150 , 302 with the speed density? I was told when I bought the truck that the injectors were out of a Mustang Saleen. Here lately my truck idles about 1600 when I start it in the morning and continues until it gets good and hot, also it will surge and die when it takes a liking to, along with feeling like a miss, however I don't feel that it is electricial. Bad injectors? I did get some eytanol in my fuel a while back. HELP!!!!!!!!

If you have access to a fuel pressure test gauge, test the pressure at the rail schrader valve. A bike pump w/gauge has worked for some. The fuel pressure regulator (FPR) is a known source of problems. Fuel pressure should be steady around 35 lbs, a few more under wide open throttle (WOT). (Mine was at 80+ lbs, similar symptoms).

It's an easy test to perform, and good to rule the FPR in or out early.

Also check all the vacuum lines, especially those to the EGR. Also, the white plastic vac lines near the firewall on the passenger side are known to get brittle and cause surging/missing. If one is bad, cut out the brittle part and use a vacuum hose with an id that slips over the white line to patch it.

Also check the canister looking thingy (that's a tech term)...if it's metal it might've rusted with pinholes.

The injector tops should be orange 19lb(depending how badly faded they are they may look sorta yellow), If they are blue or any other color you got the wrong ones and you need to change them out with orange ones.

Start by cleaning the IAC valve and check for stored codes.. Ford Fuel Injection
