Listen to Ipod via AUX over Wireless headphones?

Anyone figure out a way to do this. I would like for my kids to be able to hear their iPod when connected to the front stereo aux input. I would like for them to use the factory wireless headphones. This doesn't appear to be possible per the owner's manual. Anyone have a work around? Maybe this has changed with newer models. Mine is an 08 from last Fall.

Thanks,
