Talking 96' 2.3L into a 92' 2.3L ranger swap

Hello everyone! Have I got a question for you! I know this has been asked in the past, hopefully someone has accomplished this and can help me out. I got a deal on a used '96 2.3L four out of a rolled '96 ranger to replace my dead 2.3L I know the blocks are somewhat different, more sensors anyways. I don't need the Cam sensor, is there a way to modify the crank position sensor to work with the '92 electronics in my truck? or am I out of luck here? I really need for thios to work, and I'm not out a lot of money on this, but need to get this truck back on the road. any help would be greatly appreciated!
