I got a chance to get a set of almost new BFG 315/60 tires for next to nothing, but I am not sure if they will fit my truck. I am worried about front clearance when turning. I an not an off-road guy, this is just a work truck. All stock (READ: NO MODS), has 265/70-17 on it now. but these would make great winter tires if they fit.

 

being an 06 you shouldn't have problems with them rubbing the leaf springs since there aren't any but you will probably rub either the bottom of the bumper or the inner fender liner without some lift.

 

Check out my gallery - I have 35's with stock suspension and absolutely not rubbing. Have not experienced rubbing in exactly 12 months of use.

 

I don't know about a rub, but I would be worried about putting 315s on stock width rims.
