Hey! Didn't get any bites in the for-sale thread, so wanted one last time to try to get someone locally to take this stuff off my hands before it becomes a made-in-China bicycle at Walmart.
Two 390's, one complete short-block w/5K miles on it (cracked behind the flywheel from water freezing) w/forged TRW flat-top pistons, balanced everything, heads w/double valve-springs CJ-sized exhaust valves, etc.
Second 390 is a '67 2bbl disassembled - no rods/pistons, but otherwise complete. Heads were redone by someone w/hardened exhaust seats.
If anyone wants the stuff, it's in Lindenhurst on Long Island, you have to take it all in one shot if you want it. I don't want to go through piece-mealing it out.
I can deliver it, you pay for the gas at 15MPGs both ways
15 days, and I'm picking through what's good and eBaying what might make a $, and scrapping the rest.

Great idea... Most of us have parts that are new and to good to throw away, but do not need them, and don't want to go through the hassle of selling them.

listen hes in long island which is down my way.. if someone wants them upstate i can truck them from him to deposit NY and ya can pick em up there at my other house... i know most of yall are in the center of the state that gets em closer to ya at any rate
This stuff is still available, lazy me I haven't gotten around to doing anything with it (yet).

I'm going to be in Upstate NY for Labor day - not really willing to truck much of this stuff too far, given the stuff I need for camping, and the dog, but ...
Anyone in Upstate need anything? ANYTHING? Even something small?

Art, sorry to say but none of your free stuff will fit my truck. Anyways... where about in upstate are you going ??? If it is in the Catskills, I do not consider that upstate as it is downstate to me

Too bad I wasn't closer Art, I'd take it all off of your hands for you!! I'm putting a 390 in my '67F100. I'm thinking Omaha is a little farther than you'd want to go to deliver them!!LOL!(man, figure out that delivery charge @15 mpg!!)
