Born and raised in Winkler MB, my grandpa was the Winkler Shoe Clinic on Main st, lived there til I was 15. Lived in Brandon until I was 18, moved to Winnipeg for 3 years in late 20s early 30s. Have about a dozen people that I'm still in regular contact with, good thing I have unlimited minutes Canada wide on my phone lol

Been with Fido since October of 97, ran 2 phones until 4 years ago. The last time I pushed the service rep he upped my package to 10 gigs of internet, eliminated the charge for my new Galaxy A5 and my bill is $85 a month total. Those are anytime minutes and free text, when I get out of my zone I get a text telling me to turn on my wifi roam and theres no extra billing so far. Texting is unlimited, pays to stay with the same provider sometimes. Have had this Email address of mine for even longer.

It doesn`t always pays to stay with the same provider. With my old provider that I had been with for many years it me cost $.25 a minute for long distance plus some other charges I don`t have with my new provider. I`m paying a bit more now but have texting and features I didn`t have before.
I usually call in with a tech service complaint a few weeks after getting a new phone, I get transfered to tech support and after the problem get sorted out I can usually get an added benefit or feature. The problem that works best is data usage when windows does an upgrade download. It's an old trick I learned when they started with the smart phone program. Before then it was long distance or roaming charges when I was just outside my zone. The first one was when they came out with digital over riding the analogue signal. I've had a cell phone since about 87 when they weighed 3.5 lbs and cost .75 a minute and looked like a growth on the side of the head. Gave everyone my pager # back then and used everybody else's phone but mine.LOL
