My guess is the Big Gun's have moved in and cut a lot of rates to keep busy. We do a Tuesday and Friday load out of Delta, BC to Winnipeg. We still have the Tuesday load, but lost the Friday load to Trans X. They cut the rate so much, that we can't afford to match the price. I'm hearing from other smaller company's the same thing. Once it picks up they'll all of a sudden raise the rates, and we get the freight back. This also happened about 8 yrs ago. Just have to struggle through it.

It`s a soggy holiday Friday here, a nice way to cool off after these hot days we`ve had.
Enjoy those low freight volumes Grant, it may not happen for a while. What are your plans for your week off?
Good morning Gerry, nice to have you drop by. Congratulations on 150,554 posts!
Good morning John.

Good morning flat landers
Looks like its going to be a hot one, 28c, working off the alley today so it'll be more like 32.
Siggurd down the street runs for fedex out to Vancouver and back, runs 2 trailers and the back one is always empty, weight is 26,000 lbs and less.

Good morning John.
I hope to get most of the wiring sorted out on the EFI harness.

After a little shower this morning it`s going to be a muggy one here at 25°C.

I detest working with any kind of wiring, I really admire you Grant.

I have also heard that things are slow that way. Even the big guys are slow right now.

Cats just brought in the first dragonfly of the season. Looks funny seeing the tail end sticking out the mouth and the wings flapping on either side of their faces

Not good when the big guys are slow, hopefully this doesn`t last too long.
I like seeing dragonflies, the mosquitoes are pretty thick around here.

I keep telling them to leave the dragonflys alone as they eat mosquitos, just falls on deaf ears. Frankie can go from flat on the ground to 30" in the air and come down with 1 in her paws in a split second, looks funny as hell.
