What is Slicksand John?
It's a polyester primer surfacer made by Evercoat. It sprays on 4-6 mil thickness each layer so builds up very fast, it's almost what you would call spray-able body filler and sands very easy, needs to be top coated with a high build or primer sealer before final paint. Using it is cheaper than just spraying high build primer which only builds 1.5 -2 mil thick per coat. It all depends on how straight a finish you want...

Sounds like great stuff, anything that sands very easy would become a favorite of mine. I do like straight a fairly finish.

Hello Grant, Ian and all who lurk here.
I spent $22 at the farmers market for some might fine eats, fresh potatoes, 1 doz homemade cinnamon buns, Saskatoon berry pie and honey tarts. Lots of calories but it sure tastes good.
I`m afraid to watch the game, an 4-0 team playing our 0-3 team doesn`t look all tha promising.

Big surprise Ian, Sk finally won doing it against all odds!
Nothing like a fest of new potatoes cooked and smothered in butter.

Hello Grant, I think that the Bombers have a good team but like the Riders haven`t jelled yet.
Rain over night and more heavy showers so far today, after cooking all this past week I`m certainly lovin` this cooler weather.
