Got the estimate for the deer Escape encounter today, $4,672 and it`s booked in at the Ford dealer for Dec 1 unless I look somewhere else to do it sooner. We`re in no hurry since it`s driveable.
Morning boys. TWN is giving a weather alert telling us winter is coming. I guess we been lucky so far. I'm almost winning my race against the seasons. This past weekend I got the power panel hooked up in my HiQual building, a wire ran to the barn, and a few more things put away. It will be nice to not have extension cords running all over the yard and driveway to plug in the tractor, water bowl heaters, septic heater, etc. It'll be nice to have a light in the barn and a yard light outside the barn also. Slowly I will get this yard looking and functioning the way I want it.
Morris, that sounds like the magic number for a deer tap. That's about $30 off what my F150 was, but it ended up a total loss due to the age and value of it.
Hope everyone is getting physically ready for winter. I know mentally some of us struggle. On one hand I am not looking forward to it, on the other, it'll be ok to be forced to stay inside and get things done on the house
Have a great Tuesday everyone!

As much as I don`t like it winter is on it`s way Sherm. How big is your HiQual building?
The well pump quit and it`ll be spring before I bother to get it fixed since it`s only for yard use since we have city water for household use.
The Escape was along way from a total loss, it`s a good thing that it`s driveable since it`ll be 3-4 wks before it can be repaired.

I had my truck repaired from hail damage. Some the dents where repaired the paintless method and some where repaired the old fashioned way. The shop did a fantastic job and the repairs stood up for the 3 years I owned it after the repairs. It was $7000.00 worth of repairs so there were a lot of dents.
