No topic thread,,, Part 2
Morning boys. By the end of yesterday it was all mud again, snow was gone. I'm ok with that. This weekend will be a big weekend of getting stuff ready for winter. Getting stuff stored and out of the elements. I don't mind each season...I hate the transitional times.
Have a great day everyone!!

Info I got on the phone:
-3.0L V6
-5-speed Standard
-Extended Cab (XL Version)
-Had it since 100,000km (now 130,000)
-Only work done to it was:
1) Fluid changes
2) Starter replaced
-Rubber bed mat
-Vinyl/Velcro Tonneua Cover
-Fog lights were removed by previous owner (didn't say why).
-2" Hidden Hitch (but no trailer brake controller, so it likely didn't haul anything IMO).
-Asking $6,000 (not firm on price)
-Mostly highway driven
-Hasn't been winter driven for the past 3-4 years (why only 30,000km was put on in 4 years).
The price does seem a bit high for an 02.

Let me know how you make out with getting your heated seat repaired, if not too bad then I may get the one in my 01 F250 Lariat Super Crew repaired althought it won`t see any real winter duty.
Mud everywhere so look out when it freezes the ground will be rock hard and cleaning snow in my farm yard won`t be fun on account of the frozen ruts.

Sounds like this Ranger I'm looking at is worth around the 4.5K range rather than 6K. I think I'll pass on it for now because there's no way he'll take a 25% drop in price.
I'll stick with my giant POS daily driver for winter. If somebody smucks me in it (Knock on wood it doesn't happen), I won't feel bad.

Think I`ll sit out the heated seat repair, it`ll get parked for the winters when I don`t use it and it`s way cheaper to buy a heat seat cover.
Are you getting the nice sun shine where you are Gerry?
Great info guys.
