Happy Thursday mornin'all. A scorcher today. I hear ya John. Too hot to get motivated today. I want to drop my trans pan, and install the Lokar shift lever. I also have to remove the tailshaft housing. I pushed the yoke in yesterday, and got a face full of trans fluid thru the breather hole. Trans shop said, there is a boot in there that seals the tailshaft? Gerry. Is this true? I Took Dawn in this morning for her gallbladder op. Have a great day guy's.

Good afternoon.
Nice Massey tractors Colin, I have a couple of 1100`s, an 1130 plus a 2745.
The heat which is supposed go away later tomorrow or in the evening but I hope it doesn`t turn into nasty thunder, hail storms with the big temperature change.
You have made really great progress John, my hat`s off to you!
Is Dawn`s gallbladder being removed Grant? I had mine out about 13 yrs ago and it went really well.

Thanks. Will do John. I put in my Lokar shift lever.(had to drop the pan) Now my factory kickdown won't work, so I had to order a Lokar Kit. Would have been nice to know this when I bought the shifter. $110.00 cdn on Amazon, free shipping, here in 2 days. $67.00 US at summit + shipping. I ordered it from Amazon.ca. Jordan and Kalan will eat potato's for a week or two to recover the cost's. On our way back from Kenora, We stopped at a chip stand that Dawn & I ate at on our honey moon, 28yrs ago. Good food, but expensive. Jordan's bacon double cheeseburger was like $12.00, so for under 10 double cheeseburger's I get a new kickdown set-up.

Is that the same type of seal on the C6 Gerry, I'm going to need to change mine too when the time comes.

Gerry. is there a boot or seal on the inside of the tailshaft? the fluid is leaking thru the center hole of the driveshaft yolk.
