I got woken up this morning from my work needing someone to cover a shift, but buy the time i found a phone to call them back they found someone else to cover. I think I will finally get the bottom pan of my snowmobile removed and order a new one today. Also, I have been home since Monday and my fiancee and I are still pulling wood tics off our dogs from when we were at our in laws.

That's a nice truck you're looking at Gerry but I agree that it needs a 302 minimum lol. Even my snowmobile has a lot more horsepower than that truck does lol.

Sherwin, good luck with your chickens. When are you getting the rest of McDonald's farm?

John, congrats on the retirement. Any plans on what you're gonna do now?

Grant, thanks again for letting me ship my suspension to you. It was nice to see you again and meet your son.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend
That picture is from a horror show I don't want to watch Randy Thanks for the congrats, I'll just be sticking it out here and tinkering with my trucks for now and hope to do a little bit of travelling.

Good morning everyone

Morning boys. Randy, that looks like a scene from a horror film. John is absolutely right about that. Nice of Grant to let you use his facilities. I guess he's a nice guy no matter what his wife says about him

Chicks seem to have stabled. I've been keeping the heat to them, the lamps are close to the floor of the pen and I turn the propane heater on a couple times a day to warm the whole building. We have another 20 coming on Monday. Going to have them set up right so we don't lose any hopefully. Randy, we're getting 6 haired sheep and 2 pigs sometime through the summer. The pigs should be any time now, the sheep will be later. Pigs will be butchered in late fall. I'm hoping to have the sheep bred this year then butcher some next year.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm going to play electrician today and run the new power to my garage. I'm putting 240 in there so I can play welder.

What's Gerry up to today?

If you make it this far west be sure to drop by John, the coffee pot is always on as well as adult beverages if you prefer.
Be careful with those chicks Sherm, don`t plant them too close or too deep.
I feel for you Randy, snow at this time of the year really sucks!

Randy. At least you won't have to worry about Tic's or moquito's! I did all the yard work myself today. 5 hrs of total givin'er. I'll spray for those pretty lttle yellow flowers, if it isn't too windy tomorrow. Gerry. Just go to To the big box store, and buy a MTD type mower. I bought one 20yrs ago and still have it. I use it for ditch mowing now, but it works better than my Craftsman, or my brother's Honda. It's only 4 1/2 hp compared to 6 1/4 the Craftsman & Honda, But it seems to mow better, and is less finnacky. Dawn & Jordan usually do the trim and prefere the ergonomic's of the craftsman. I on the other hand don't mine using the ugly Mtd. maybe if I paint it John Deere green, or even the original red/black, they might use it. Sherm. Make sure you don't crank the heat up too much. You might have chicken nuggets in the morning. Speaking of chicken. Gotta run. Chicken burgers are ready. John. I'm expecting pictures of your progress soon. Take care all.

Evening boys... Haven't tackled the power yet, but got the ICF grade beam of the addition covered with treated plywood.

Grant the chicks have enough room to move away from the heat if they get too warm. They're doing pretty good right now.

The year I was born my dad bought a mastercraft 2.5hp lawnmower. Might have been $125 back in the day. Its outlasted 2 other mowers and is still going today. The simplicity in those old units is wonderful. I'm looking for a smoking deal on a zero turn mower for our acreage.

Another cold windy day here but, I finished my sloughs today and got the drill all cleaned up and greased and ready for next spring.
Randy you can keep the white stuff.
I bought a used Sears mower last year, seems to be a good mower. Kohler motor and front wheel drive. It's a couple of years old and paid $125 for it.

Morning fellas... No lottery winner here. Didn't buy a ticket. Thought about it, apparently that won't make you a winner... Would have been nice though. I'd call my boss and tell him I'll be 30 years late for work this week.

Colin, hopefully you didn't get the frost that we had yesterday if your crops are up. One of the big farmers here had to go back to their land in Manitoba and re-seed due to a killer frost. They farm around 15000 acres...

Have a great Sunday everyone!!
