Good evening everyone. Went for a little trip to the local home hardware 300km away to get shelving material to build my girlfriend a pantry in our closet... the things we do for woman lol... also while there I went to the local Ford dealership to get fuel filters for my truck only to walk out almost 5 minutes later empty handed because no one wanted to come to the counter.... Hope every ones day is going well.

Trent, that's a lot of leaves!

Wow Gerry, your garage is almost useable. I bet your happy about that? When are you getting your new truck??

I dont suggest the Stihl as it is a smaller weaker unit meant for small jobs.

Randy, this is one of over 60 properties that must be done.

Morning fellas... Chilly and windy yesterday, really frosty out there again now.

Gerry, whats more important...?? A nice new truck or the garage? Tough decision there, but at least you have a place to put the truck when it does come

I went through another round of frustration yesterday. Brought home a rental skid steer to finish drilling my piles. Got 2 done and #3 hit some boulders again. Tried working around them and moving the piles one way or another and kept hitting big rocks. Ended up bending the auger extension in the process. At this point, my wife doesn't realize how much I want to put the kiwash on this addition idea. $700 bucks and I don't even have all the holes drilled yet.

Hope everyone has an awesome day today!!

No budget for a new truck? No problem, you do have a very nice truck Gerry.
It`s been chilly and windy yesterday here, frosty this morning.
Bummer on bending the auger extension Sherm, it may have been cheaper to hire the job done.....had you known ahead of time.
Happy Friday to all, it's supposed to be quite warm by Sunday here too Grant.

I'd rather have the garage, Ford sells trucks everyday .....
Too bad about all the digging BS there

My 250 is getting winter ready. Taking off the 37s to 33s with plow mount being re-installed, etc. The 33s look so small in the wheel wells.

We're under the canopy today also John... Can't help you here, have to make a call to BC or maybe the far east.

Morris, it was my impatience that ended up costing me probably 2-1/2 times what the holes should have. The guy I usually use to drill could have come today to drill them, and it ends up he still has to... I was wanting to have had them done and be pouring the grade beam already today. Oh well, another one of lifes lessons learned the hard way. Hopefully the rest of the project goes smoother once these holes are drilled today.

Its a chilly one, windy and overcast. I really don't want to head out there...lol

Put 150 ft of snow fence up today. Another 50-75 to go. Replaced frt brake rotors on Jordan's car, and was teaching him to drive a stick. I may have wiplash. He can't retest for 2 months, so he has time. Take care all.
