Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle... All I can do is chuckle right now. Much appreciated if any of you know where the tap is to turn this rain off. Went to feed my chickens this am and they quacked at me...

Morning FTE

Sorry to hear of the basement/Roof Sherm. Not good, but i'm sure you'll have her fixed up in no time.
My rain guage is showing 90mm from Sat/Sun this weekend. Almost had a chance to cut grass yesterday but she started raining again. Run off wize we're lucky here. up on a bit of a hill and rain just goes straight into the ground. With the winds yesterday we have 2 trees to clean up but that's it for damage so far. Haven't walked around much yet. Some seriously crazy weather for us in MB/SK.

Off to work I go, with kids in tow today. Have two lil helpers, should be fun!!

I hope it has stopped raining where you are Sherm. We are starting to float here but, we have not had as near as much rain as even Regina.

Our rain gauge is showing 145 mm now. The road to our farm is under water. The bumper of the 4x4 pushes water but we are still getting through. What a mess, but our house is high and dry so we are a lot better off then a lot of people in SE Sask.

Hope everyone in the flood areas is staying safe. Were are getting a little rain now but nothing that crazy. The road in and out of town was all muddy and slick, a friend and her mom just came back into town saturday. They have an H2 Hummer and it was sliding around. I feel bad for the people in town with little cars.

I think my girlfriend and I found the perfect vehicle for her. We don't like the colour but we can get past that. Now its just a matter of waiting for the rest of my tax money which should be here this week then we need to make arrangements to go and get it.

Morning FTE!!!

Randy, brand new titanium excape for that price. We're opting out of a CRV for Dee and she wants an excape now. Nephew just bought a brand new one, loaded from SK. Buy new if that's the budget brutha!! Cheaper financing, and BRAND new!! But she better put the ring on your finger if your buying her one of those :P

Have a great day guys!!! Hoping the rain slows down for all the peeps in lowlands!! Be safe.

I know it is a bad colour, but that's the only down side really. Its loaded to the max with heated/cooled front seats, heated 2nd rear seats, dvd/nav, under dash lights, dual sun roofs ect. My girlfriend really likes the Explorer over the Expedition, plus the Explorer would be a little better on fuel. My plan is to take off the 20" rims and those car tires and put on a set of 17" rims and get some 245/70r17 Goodyear Duratracs and stuff them on the Explorer because are road in and out of Gillam destroys tires. I've seen guys with Toyo MT tires have flats and those tires and super thick. I've been fortunate so far (knock on wood) so I want to make sure I don't have to worry about my girlfriend changing a tire if she goes out all by herself.

Curtis, glad you found a way to bring your wife over to the right brand of vehicles. My problem with an Escape is that they are too small for us. When you get it you should load up your family, two weeks of luggage and supplies and a really big dog and drive some where 12-13 hours away and see how much you wish you had your Excursion (or something bigger) after that lol.
