These are small acorn nuts, 3/8" thread, got them at Calgary Fasteners, $16.75 for 20. Don't think you can get actual acorn nuts big enough for a rig, just the slip on caps but can go online and look through the catalog. Down loaded the Grote catalog.
Now I get to gather more nuts and washers and paint them black.

My bad, I meant to ask about the slip on covers for the wheel nuts.
I think that FGI will have them since they are common. I will check out the Grote catalog, now is a good time since it's so dang cold out.

FGI has 3 or 4 different styles of them, Sigurd was there and was checking out chains, $110 a set for what he was looking at. They had some that were really knarly looking, looked like a trio of 1/4" studs on every other link. He hauls light weight 53' doubles to Vancouver twice a week for FedEx.

That seems like a good price but I don`t need tire chains, my gravel truck is parked for the winter.

Check Canadian Tire for cab clearance lights. I found stock looking ones for my 72 F350 but that was a few years back. I haven`t noticed any at Peavey Mart but they could have some.

Most of what Grote has are OEM, can't go wrong with that.

Looks like I might have to con one of my neighbors into going to the auction. Rob is used to auto auctions but this is an estate sale with tools that he may need, seen a few odd ball pieces I might be able to snag due to the weather.

Tis a good thing that I got all the running around done yesterday, feels like I gargled with sand and gravel today. Got the walkway swept, sure is nice having these sidewalk stones and the new fence in, no snow from the street sidewalk to the back alley.

Good evening everyone, still waiting for the wind to go down. Supposed to be -59 with the windchill tomorrow, I hope they are wrong.
