Morning boys. Gerry, I don't mind a rust spot here and there, but I won't put anyone's life at risk by driving a death trap. I wouldn't mind stricter inspection laws here, but it would be incredibly inconvenient for farmers. This '90 will, for all intents and purposes, be a farm truck, hunting truck, hauling wood truck, etc. The powertrain is 100%, body is very decent, its worth preserving and not so far gone that it'll cost a fortune.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far... I got my tractor stuck yesterday. Couldn't pull it out with my FIL's F150, so I'm waiting for my neighbor to come by with his big 4wd tractor.

Morning Gerry. We just butchered 4 chickens yesterday. They were weighing smaller than I'd expected, so we'll wait until they're a bit larger. Parted a couple of them out. I eat a lot of chicken on my bodybuilding diet, so it will be nice to not have to buy as much.
Just made another attempt to get the tractor out. No dice. It'll be waiting until the neighbor shows up.

Happy Sunday afternoonall. just got home from the family reunion. Thank god. Very boring. Jordan and I were going to go truck hunting, but one of the loacal family dude's said; the shredder went thru a year or 3 ago ago, and a lot of stuff got crushed. he'll put the word out for me on getting part's. One guy had a shed full of flatty stuff including aluminum heads and intake, and it all went to scrap. Hope you get your tractor out Sherm. Got to go get groceries. Talk to you all later.

Afternoon boys!!
I agree with the harder safety inspection laws. I see so much shady stuff out there. I tell my wife all the time, look at that 1/2 ton pulling a 30' camper and a 16' Lund behind it. Bumper scraping in the ground..... Or my neighbour....dump trailer driving on hwy with flat tires, one tongue pin missing, no lights, no mounted jack(he uses a PA jack and bricks to stage it in his yard. His 20' trailer, same thing piece of crap. Actually fell off on hwy 206 two weeks ago doing 100km/h. Almost head on with a van (fam inside) almost rolled. Totalled the trailer and unsure about truck. Box and bumper all bent up but still driving it. I tell the wife all the time, "you watch dear, he's gonna have a trailer off, mark my words" sure enough. He's only one of lots out there so I can say it's a pain to get pulled over or pulled in but I can see why they do it. In the city and perimeter that is. They need to hit the hwys and patrol better imho. Was funny, he said he hit a bump and it came off. Didn't know what happened. I call bull personally. How does the safety pin come out, it unlatch itself and jump off the ball on one bump.
Enough of that chit chat lol.
Smokin hot out there today!! Just got back from moving my parents. Gonna cool down in the house for abit then back out to finish painting customers trims/doors/casings/vanity ect ect. Probably end up in the pool quite abit today.
Oh.....here's a bit of a story. Couple days ago, working across the road. Long story short, come home for a couple more 12' 2x6ers. Stop out by the old oak tree to have a wiz. Son was with me, about 100'away. Half way through, and having the feeling someone's watching me I look into the bush....... BEAR..... Not 5' away. He didn't hear me walk up I guess but he jumped up and took off, I screamed to cam to RUN to the gazebo while pinching it off and holding my shorts up while, somehow, leaping over trailer ramps, rail road ties and mountain bike that borders my shed/shop. In my sandals. Still don't know how the heck I cleared it anyway scared the bageebers outa me. Was trembling for hours after that rush of adrenalin.
Had a fellow pull in yard yesterday. Kids n fam in pool and I was painting outside the cave. He saw the bear cross over into our yard and wanted to say keep ur eyes open. Super nice of him. Anyhooooooo, enough
Have a fantastic Sunday afternoon evening everyone!!!
Sherm if you were closer I'd bring the eX over and giver a shot getting at tractor.
Bummer on car parts Grant, make you just cringe I bet.
