Good morning folks and Happy Canada Day, 148 years old today!
That is great news about your dad Sherm, good health is something that we all take for granted. Say hi to him for me when you are there next week.
Once the mirrors are painted they'll blend right in.
These fires are almost 200 miles away from us Gerry but the smoke is still thick today and it sounds like it`ll be here for a while yet.
I haven't found any mirrors that I like for my 53 yet John, likely I`ll go with the small round chrome ones from a mid 60`s Ford truck.
It`s deck scraping and painting day here, not something I'm really looking forward to so wish me luck!

Happy Thursday mornin'all. Been laid up with sciatic nerve problems. (I think that's what it's called) Tons on Volteren and massaging, and it's bearable today. Found a 22 gal fuel tank on Kijiji. The guy lives 5 min from my house. He bought a tank from Mid-Fiftys and decided to go another route. He want's $350 for it (new in the box) It's selling for $399.00 US + shipping. I can't afford not to buy it! Have a great day guy's.

Good afternoon folks.
I`m going to look into renting a floor sander John, all I need to do is to take the shine off the old stain, right?
I`m taking some time and heading to the lake for the day.
Bummer on the sciatic nerve pain Grant, hopefully the Volteren and massaging work quickly.
That`s a great deal on the 22 gal fuel tank, I just bought a power brake booster and master cylinder kit form Mid Fifties, $299 US and about $550 by the time it ended up in my hands.
