Hi guy's. back from the show. Saw TJ there, and a good chat. It was a zoo out there today more people than ever, too many to even take pictures. Everybody was in the way, so I didn't get any. The truck scene was very lacking this year. Oh well maybe next year. Have a good evening guy's.

Nice to hear you got out Grant! Since you didn't take pics, perhaps you will draw us some pics...

Had a nice relaxing day here yesterday. Did a pile of cleaning in the one garage, through out a pile of stuff that deserved it. The garage has a really low ceiling and OH door, just over 6' through the overhead door, maybe 7'6" overall headroom. I'm going to build 36" pony walls for it, jack it up, pour a new floor, and completely finish the inside for a nice garage/man cave sort of deal. It's only 20x22, so it won't work for the trucks but is great for the atv's and sleds, the fusion, and other smaller items.

Here's to a happy Monday for everyone, supposed to get damp here but hopefully not enough to cause delays in work.

Ford Pickup

I stopped by the Ford Dealership yesterday, for a look at the new F-Series pickup. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new "feel" before they become extinct.

The salesman (a man wearing a "Trudeau for change" lapel pin sat in the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options. The seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat.

Feeling like messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a Conservative truck.

Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Conservative truck.

I explained that if it were a Trudeau truck, the seats would just blow smoke up your *** year-round.

I had to walk back to the dealership. Damn guy had no sense of humor.

It was great seeing you and your quiet son. I left the show shortly after you to watch the 49ers game.

Morning All... Though I like early mornings, its a lot easier to wake up when the sun is already up. Getting up before the sun is become utter BS

Last night the dogs were going crazy sniffing around the front of the Fusion. There had been a mouse nest in between the spark coils last winter, so I popped the hood to make sure the buggers weren't trying the same thing this year. Sitting there on the valve cover was a RAT... Great. First time in my life I've set a rat trap under the hood of a car with complete innocent intentions and efforts to catch a real rat. Today it'll be filling a couple tires with poison, some pet proof baits... Rats are one thing I don't want to become a problem.

Have a great day everyone!!

Another wet soggy day here, a good day to reorganize my shops and garages.

I hate rats too, got rid of them when I replaced the leaking grain bin and got out door cats.

We`ve had to keep these handy around here too Gerry, it`s been a fairly wet summer and fall is looking the same way.

Another long and cold winter like our last one would be very hard to take but I do like the idea of a long, warm Indian summer a lot.
