Morning everyone!!
Randy, no loss on the ole Dodge, something's better than nothin

Grant, summer plans for me are to start my racing regiment soon as i'm healed up. Work my buns off. Ordering a blowflex, Illiptical, treadmill and stationary bike. (NOT letting my outa shape a$$ get injured again!!)
For the eX: Rebuild the tranny in the eX. Update my 58V Ficm to "Ed's" new 48v. Once tranny's done going straight for PHP's ECM tune to compliment the current PHP FICM tuner (mainly for the flawless tranny tune and extremely high reviews on his tunes compared to SCT). Final step will be to clean up and machine the injectors bumping them up abit. If mileage is what I think it will be then, money permiting, stage 2 turbo. Hopeing for 16+ MPG 425/750+ upon completion.

Wow Curtis you have your work cut out for you lol. I'm sure you'll be over 500hp with injectors and a stage 2 turbo. Whos turbo are you going with? I myself have plans to put a wicked wheel in my turbo, if it lasts long enough. I'm thinking if I get a 55% over fuel pump and add a wicked wheel I'm hoping for 550hp . Oh and I'm changing the tranny fluid in my truck this weekend because when I checked it last weekend its turning black... I hope my transmission is gonna crap the bed

I've got a 5L/AOD with 100,000k, out of an 88 Lincoln Town Car. It just needs a good cleanin. The only oil leak is at the speedo housing on the tranny.

Nice! Glad you're not putting a gm 350 in it... I think it just those nice old ford trucks when guys put 350s in them

I like that combination, it`s the best of both worlds.

Take lots of pics at the car show Morris! And yeah it bothers me a lot when gm engines are in ford vehicles. I'd love to get an old gm truck/car/suv and drop a ford drivetrain in it

Grant is that fuel injected or throttle body injection back in 88, if you need help with the AOD let me know...

If it`s like my 89 Lincoln Town Car it`s fuel injected. I think that the AOD is not computer controlled, is that correct?

That's right, an AODE is computer controlled ... like my 1996 Explorer with the 5.0L & AODE, great donor vehicles

Just like my 89 Town Car, it works great and I like simplicity of the AOD over the AODE.

I chose those numbers on the concervative side. Honestly, I drive my truck hard and have roasted 99% of the stock 3 out there. That's with the Banks 6 gun in there.....(gm/dodge/ford). So i'm not ultimately going for the huge numbers, just a decent MPG daily driver with some go fast goodies at the ready. I mainly copying a local guy here with a 525hp/900Tq 05 F250 with a 6.0. He did his own injectors and their working. He just bumped up from a stage 2 to a self modified stage 3 turbo. Guys a genious. I've seen vids of his truck getting 19+MPG with that set up. And of coarse in the same vid it does 30-100mph in about 4 seconds dropping the MPG to 12.5ish. It's his daily driver and been working on it himself for some time now. I know i'm lifted and approx 600lbs+ heavier than all stock SD's out there being a SUV. But i'm geared properly giving me that edge on alot more heavier built lifted trucks out there if they wanna roll some coal
I actually can't wait to get into the injectors because what he showed me is pennies on the dollar to compaired to buying remans/warrens ect.

Morris.....be sure to post some pics of the show!!! I missed our local show due to some self inflicted over activities after my fart button illimination. I heard is was a really good show this year. I'm assuming it's "World of wheels" or a similar traveling car show.

EDIT...... I missed the link you posted. Looks like it's going to be a good show!!

Sounds like the guy to know!
I`m terrible at remembering to bring along my camera anywhere but I`ll really try.
It`s a good show that`s been running since 1961 put on by a local car club which started up in 1957. In 2010 I had my T in their 50th car show.
