Hey Ed! We're heading over to the Foothill Motorsports and Texas Road House 2008 Cruise-In. Figure we'll check it out and see what kind of turn out it has, Come on out if ya can.
Hey Wiz, Thanks for the heads-up...that one is right in my backyard...so to speak.
My son has baseball games today at 3 and 5pm...Simpsonville. If these boys can put an early "whipp'n" on the other team we are gonna try to come out to the Roadhouse. I put a petronics kit on the truck last night so I'm gonna have to test and set timing this a.m.\ Just look for the orange truck tonight.....Are you driving anything interesting to the cruise-in, I know your still working on your truck?

Wiz....I didnt make it...baseball kept us away til apx. 900 pm
I did get the timing set with the new pertronics kit...only to discover why I had some "ping" on acceleration...no vaccume from carb for the advance...
More baseball today...............will play with carb tonight.

Sorry you couldn't make it but when it comes to kids they come first. They had a good turn out. I especially liked the V8 VW Beetle that showed up, What a sleeper.
We'll hook up one of these times. Mark Aug 16th on your calendar, Theres a cruise in at the A&P restaurant on hwy 14 south. A friend puts this one on during the summer and they usually have a decent turn out.
