I couldn't be happier with mine. They are well built top notch steps. I haven't seen the light kit but may check that out.

I love them.....have them on my 01 and 07 and installed a set on my Dad's 05 F-150 Supercrew as well.

As for the light kit, do you want to light up the step or light up the ground?
If you want to light up the ground under the step, IMO the best route is to mount some cheap lights like Bear Hunter did. I've worked, driven and ridden in it and those lights do a hell of a job at lighting up the ground under the steps when on.

th elight kit is just a thought...would prob be good to have to as the steps are black. interior lights might do the job but...I always say hey...why not!

I have had mine for about 3 years with no problems. been through mud, salt water, etc. I pressure wash them and hit them with WD40 every once in awhile. Well worth the price. I have messed up leg and they really help to climb in.MD

I hate any kind of running board/tube steps but when you got a high truck and need something to help short people get in, that you can't give the butt boost to, these are the answer. I love mine. It took me a long time to choke up the money for them but I am glad I did.
