First off there are no Hot Rods in any picture there, "Hot Rods dont have valve covers" ie they have flat heads. now if you are wondering about Street Rods and Rat Rods then they are both lame in my book, I like Hot Rods.....

But Hot Rods did have valve covers. They put Buick Nailhead and Cadillac engines in them also.

fiberglass is not selling much anymore now that they are makeing all new steel bodies...for some reason it doesnt seem right to have a fiberglass body and/or a non flat head motor....but that is just my take on them, the best part about cars is every gets to do what they want.

I like both, won't argue semantics of the definition of each. Some rat rods can be just too "cheesy" though.
They can get out of hand when all the *****, switches and arms are used hand tools. I like the "cleaner"
rat rod that is just older dirty parts. I also like very clean hotrods, but I do like to see flatheads in them
whenever possible.

Hey - you can get in just as much trouble in North Carolina as you can here - maybe more!

Ask her if she might reconsider if you promise to behave.
