I have the MSD Dashhawk and I really like it. For my truck I had to buy an add on EGT probe that I drilled and tapped into the drivers side exhaust manifold. I am pretty sure that the 2008 already has EGT sensors in the exhuast for the regen process, and the Dashahwk can read them from the OBD-II port so you wouldn't even have to add anything else.
