New turbo & non-ebv

Well, after much deliberation I went to a mechanic I know is telling the truth. Its amazing how many lie and try and take your money!!

I ordered eBay Motors: LATE 99/03 7.3 TURBO POWERSTROKE SUPER TURBOCHARGER (item 180260144648 end time Jul-08-08 06:00:00 PDT)

I am having it installed next Thursday by a buddy of mine. Now my question is what intercooler boots to buy? I want to replace the old ones while its torn apart. Also, are there any other mods that you guys would recommend while the turbo is out? Other than up-pipes, Im not going to touch them until they leak.

Thanks

I put on the same ones all the way around (6 total)with a re-built turbo adn Non-EBV pedistal (WW that comes with the rebuild) and even the Turbo Master from them. all works great.

if you have any questions they always return with an explaination and will not lead you a stray just to take your money.

That looks like the 3.25 to me. That is a darn good setup. The Banks wheel is another word for the wicked wheel or early wheel. Too bad it is not a BB unit. Good buy from a good guy. I got my non EBV pedestal from him when I got my new turbo.

I am running a GTP38R with stock boots save the intake plenum ones which I replaced with marine grade ones that Dave at Swamps gave me because my stockers were too sloppy to bolt up correctly. So I guess the stock boots are OK for the most part if they are in good shape and cleaned up properly.

BTW, those marine grade boots are "tight". That turbo R&R is a bit more work now with those.
