the box is not the original look at the rear gas door on 76 they had a round plug filling the gas cap hole the doors were put on in 77. Nice paint though.
Well I got one that will top that...hahaha. This is also on ebay and the owner says it's a 78 Bronco Hi Boy. I sent him a question asking to explain that to me, not tipping my hand that I know the serial # of the last hi boy produced and that they were only 250's. Anyways, it is a nice Bronco, but not for 28 g's.
Is yours a Hi-Boy? I know 77 is the last year.

I say they are in near same condition. Both are very nice.

Yes mine is a '77 hi boy...Built in December of '76. It was custom ordered by the 1st owner, then his brother bought it from him, then my dad bought it from him, then my dad gave it to me and we restored it. My dad knew the previous owners since the truck was new.

Here's what the guy replied to me about this Bronco...
"Its a Factory Lift with out lift blocks. This is a special order Bronco
made this way from the factory"
Now since I'm not interested in the Bronco and I hate when people ask DA questions or make DA remarks about ebay postings I'm not going to nail him to the wall.
once again all beautiful machines and sort-of heavy prices.
the Bronco Highboy.......I've never heard of that before. I think that guy is trying to make the vehicle look a little more rare than it is. he wrote that the truck didn't come with the lift blocks or lift kit, but he forgot that that's what the Highboy is all about....."High" boy. very nice but not worth $28 grand.
Ben, I guess the guy that has the 77 has never seen your truck before...."you will not find a better original 1977 F250 4x4".....HAHA
and the 76 was good looking but could have been maybe a little better.

oh, and if you look at the 77 it has automatic locking front hubs.

Thanks man...I appreciate it, but I don't claim mine is the best, cuz I do use and abuse mine, but it has been a few magazines and has won a few shows in its day.

Yea I looked at the sellers feedback and was really suprised that it was all POS.The sellers really splitting hairs by saying "frt dana axle with the big hubs' Which I take to wrongly imply a 60 and then he skirts around the diff motor for a supposed ALL original trk aswell as the other things Pusher mentioned.Plus the whole undersides been painted.Whether to hide things or a frame off.Definitly not worth the money if ones looking for a truely correct restored Hi-Boy.Just my 2 cents
