Vibration at 70 mph and above

So Iv had this problum come and go for about six months or so. It just got to the point where I gotta do something about it. its all the time now when I go over 70, it feels and sounds like a flat tire. just a Vibration and a hum. U-joints seem tight, rear end looks good, no broken or excessively worn parts. tires were just balanced. Any thoughts?

Some things are cooler than decent fuel mileage.

Maybe a weight came off the driveshaft?

Have had same problem . Tried everything. Took truck to a tire store that had a good balance machine. Balanced tires. Stopped the vibration. If it was a crank shaft weight it probably would vibrate at different speeds, not just over 70. One tire slightly out of balance can cause crazy things.

If you do find that its the tie rod ends, check out RockAuto's catalog. Search using the year; make and model of your vehicle.
