Question iPod capability in stock radio?

I have the stock in-dash 6 CD changer in my Super Duty. My question is could the AUX feature be used for iPOD capability? If so, would i have to remove most of the dash to be able to run a cable to the back of the radio unit?

Thanks in advance,

FordGuy

You will likely need a PIE adapter that connects into the wiring harness of the radio to use the IPOD. Your IPOD would then connect into the PIE adapter. I got one to hook up my Sirius sat radio. You can get a PIE adapter on many online electronics shops (just google PIE adapter) These PIE adapters are vehicle/radio specific. And yes, you will have to pull the dash cover off to pull the radio to connect the adapter; but it is not very difficult.
