PCV Valve V-10

Hey All, it has been a while since I last posted...Glad to see you all still here. My question is this...Where is the PCV Valve on my 04 6.8L? The Ford shop manual shows the 5.4L and says "6.8L similar". On my driver side valve cover, where it shows the pcv, I have a hard plastic tube that does not want to come out...I fear breaking it off...any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Chopper.

My 02 manual said same thing. It actually on passenger side, about half way back on valve cover with what looks like two other tubes coming out from it. Just pull up on the bunch.

chopper on my 04 5.4 F250 the pcv valve is on the passanger side. Look carefully at where the valve meet the hose there is a small tab that has to be slid to unlock the hose from the pcv valve. Once the hose and valve are seperated then the pcv valve screws out of the valve cover.
Hope this helps
