Shouldnt forget the T-18 BW was also found in these trucks before only 5-spd were the only manual to be found. The ZF requires that you find one for the windsor family of engines/300 I-6 while the NP and BW trannies can come from almost any engine and mate to a bolt-on bell housing that is correct for the windsor family/300 I-6 but should have the right bolt pattern for the ford bell housing. If it isnt a daily driver I would be temped for just a 4-spd, but a daily driver is nice to have an engine a little easier on the gasoline.

What did those trans come out of ( i thought the late 80's early 90's had a mazda tranny) But if i do the manual swap do i still have to mess with getting the right driveshafts. The truck has a 6in susp. with a 3 in body, so naturally a lil longer drive shaft wont hurt, but a really dont want to play the needle in a hay stack game to find the right front and rear shafts for the thing. I just want to say thanks to all you that are responding, I realy appreciate.

You'll find the C6 in F and E series trucks from the early 90's and back.. basically before the E4OD was widely used. Many of the heavier trucks(F/E 250-350) utilized the 351/C6 combo.
