BioHazrdMan is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Yeah, another new guy with just as many questions as me!!! J/K Welcome Deuce45.... I just joined last week. Lol, I was in Fort Worth last weekend driving home to Albuquerque from picking up my first diesel in Houston. Got a great deal compared to the junk they are trying to sell around here.

I ordered my Napa #6637 filter already and a pre-filter from Pete and am waiting impatiently for them to get here.

The only other question is.... WHERE ARE THE PICS!!!

Yo Deuce, can't offer any more than my brothers already have but would still like to welcome you to the group. Hang around and watch your wallet shrink but your truck become the beats you have always dreamed of.

Welcome!

My wallet is shrinking as we speak lol. I can't afford the exhaust yet and had a bad experience with doing only intake an old gasser (exhaust valves). So I'm just gonna have to save up for the two at once, I'll get there eventually. Does the intake/exhaust really open her up or will it be more the tuner that puts all of those to good use? Also on the tuner can you change the settings in cab?

Gonna do my fuel filter this weekend and get my commuter car running. That will be my way to save the money for the mods. Honda civic 35 mpg @$3.99 will add up FAST. Oh I'll post pics of her over the weekend too (the truck that is).

With a diesel, you can never have too much clean air. The stock air box/filter is prone to allow dust to get through to the turbo, which in never good. The intake mod 6637 is very popular around here and can be done for less than $40.00. You won't notice a lot of power gains, but the sound of an open air filter will get your attention. It can help with fuel mileage as more air is good air. The exhaust is more expensive but again, you have to let a diesel breath, both in and out. Open the exhaust and it will lower the exhaust gas temps and improve overall performance.
