Just to introduce myself

Hello,
I am 67 years old. I live in Golden Valley (just outside of Kingman, AZ.)
I have a 1986 F-250 w/460 engine (carb. NOT EFI.) Love the truck, hate the gas mileage. Do a lot of the mechanical work myself but am often stymied. Hope this is the place to be???

I also have an 86 F250 4wd with 460, or it had a 460. I changed it out for a 300 I6 with 1bbl carb. couldn't be happier with it. It won't burn the tires off but it will do whatever I ask it to do. Haven't checked the actual gas mileage, but I know it has increased a LOT.
