They say "Unlike Lucas Oil, Prolong, and Slick 50, MOTORKOTE doesn’t mix with oil.""

If it does not mix with the oil then run away from this stuff I think thay mean it does not hurt the oil but that is a bad omen if they can not get the info right.

Also appears to be a "snake Oil" perhaps a chlor parrifin that shows high load on a bearing test machine while the will help with dry starts and general engine wear THEY will/MAY also contirbute to bearing corrosion and gerneral "rust" in the upper valve train since Chlor parrifin form HCL acid as they break down. This is normally reduced by the mfg adding in a HIGH TBN additive to react with the acid but iMHO not worth the trouble bye the way they charge way to much i make a Chlor cutting oil that wiould do the same and it sells for only about $8.00 gallon which would be what about $1.00/pint.

There was a long subject on this at BITOG, from what I see there is no need for it and the formula may be corrosive? But there's alot of opinions.

The only motor additive I'll ever use is Auto-RX to internally clean the engine, otherwise a good quality oil is all that is needed.
