Hi Folks,
I got my FTE T-Shirt and sticker in the mail today. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the T-Shirt was. I didn't know what to expect but I really like it. Cool shirt...

I'm waiting on mine. Got a nice email welcoming me the other day requesting my size. Good to know it's good quality and all, but hey I would have joined just to keep this place going with all the great people posting here.

Dave!!! Wow, really great blue sign up there, by your name!! Guess you decided FTE wasn't goin' south for a while!!

Good to see!

Sure wish they had a 48-52 on the shirt...I know the 53-56's are some of the most popular, but I don't like them at all...but then, if EVERYone like the '51's, I wouldn't be able to find ANY parts now, would I??

Yep ! They seemed to have their act cleaned up so I took the plunge and it was the three year option too. Betcha didn't expect that... As hard as it may be for you to believe, it wasn't just a money thing. Maybe I'm just a hardass, but I have my own way od seeing things and I stick to it most of the time. I was wondering if you would notice after our discussion.

Hey, take it easy on the 53s... I like 'em... I also like the older F1s. I came near buying a '50 F-3 but it was too much money and not enought truck left. No bed, engine or radiator... I would have been a good deal for parts though. The guy started at a grand and was down to five-hundred last I heard. No title either. It's probablly still there but I haven't seen it advertised lately. I'd really like to have a '40 model but that's way outta my range.

Later Man...

I don't have a problem with the 53's and up - they just aren't my favorites. I guess I like a more distinct "break" between hood and fenders, not blended in. The 40 is VERY nice, but I like the barrel nosed 38-39 as well. But you are right, there's just "something" about a 40, that makes it stand out, unique. Plus, the rear fenders are classic! But, $5,000 and up, for a starter truck, is a bit out of my range, also. That being said, the panel trucks are starting to grow on me, and a '40 would be really nice!!

And another nice '40...

Guess I hijacked this thread enough...
