Stock fuel sending unit

Hey ya'll. I have a 60 F-1 I'm working on. I would like to get a sender orderd for a under bed tank I have for the truck. The truck is at the interior shop and I don't have a book on this truck. I need to know the Olms for the stock sender. Thanks.

What kind of tank is the under bed tank? Mustang, perhaps? Do you plan to retrofit a stock 60 F-1 sender to that tank? Do you plan to use the stock 60 gauge? The sender and gauge must match...

The tank is a stainless tank from No Limit. I plan on using an aftermaket sender that fits this tank. They make senders for it with alot of different olm configurations. I do plan on using the stock gauge. Thanks.

I suppose if there is a sender made that fits your No-Limit tank which also has the same resistance as your 60 gauge then you are in business. My experience thus far is that senders are made for specific tanks and gauges. I think finding a sending unit that fits that particular tank and provides the correct resistance for a 60 gauge is unlikely. You will probably have to either use whatever sending unit is made for that tank and then cobble together an inline resistor or series of resistors to get the sender to work with your stock gauge or custom install a sending unit for a 60 (if it can be done).

As far as the fuel sender resistance goes for the 60 gauge it is my understanding that Ford applications prior to 1987 operated on 6 Volts and should read 10 Ohms empty and 73 Ohms full...
