I recently picked up a 1981 F50, 300-6 manual trans. I'm not looking to make a show truck out of it, but would like to keep it going (mechanically) for many years to come. I would also like to repair cosmetic damage as time permits.
What I need is someone experienced enough and willing to take a look at the truck and give me an idea as to what condition the truck is in and what I'm up against.
Anybody out there willing to check her out? I'm in South Central PA.

Glad you stopped in Jim but you should really probably post in PA.
Where exactly in PA are you?

I am actually near Gap, PA. I'm about 20 minutes from the Maryland border. I thought maybe I would find someone close in either PA, MD or Delaware.
I'm in Westminster,MD right off 97 which goes up to Gettysburg. No guarantees but I might be able to meet you somewhere, my wife and I ride our bikes in PA all the time but I'm busy for the next couple of weekends.
PS, Delaware isn't close.
