Shutters when in Reverse (when the engine is cold)??????

Hey all

Looks like I need your help again, guys.

When I start the car and back out of my driveway, the truck shutters pretty bad. However, if I let it run for a minute or so, it runs fine. Also, the truck vibrates pretty bad when warming up for the few minutes or so.

What could it be??
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tonight back it in the driveway and see if it stutters in forward too, when first started. If it does you have a weak cylinder that's skipping when cold, if it doesn't, you need to change your tranny fluid and filter.

I will check it out tonight.
However, the tranny fluid has been flushed about a year ago.

I checked it. It does not shutter in Drive.
So I guess it only happens in reverse when the engine is cold.
And once again, it does run pretty rough in idle for the first minute or so when warming up.

Any other suggestions on what that might be.

Is your check engine light on. Could just need a good tune up.

CEL is not on. I have replaced spark plugs and coils not a long time ago.
I have purchased coils on ebay. I hope it is not them again.

Then it's a tranny issue, not an engine issue.

If engine runs pretty rough when cold there is an issue could have weak coil, TB could need cleaned or maybe just a good fuel injector cleaner is needed, you need to address what is obvious first before jumping to a transmission issue

I am not sure about the type and weight of oil. However, I had oil changed in a new place last time I did it. Could that be the problem? How can the type/weight affect idle?
