I'm stumped and so was the repair shop. I have posted this issue on here 4 times and I don't know what to do next. I have a 94 F250 5.8 liter, this truck sat for nearly a year so when we fired it up, we put in new fuel, fuel additive, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, coil, TPS etc. When we cold start the truck it runs fine but when it kicks down to idle it starts to spit/missfire etc. We can barely get it down the freeway. I've tried everything and even went as far to take it to a reputable repair shop who had it for over a week and still couldn't find out what is wrong. I have an OBD1 code reader and it checked out fine, no TDC's. Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
So.. recap everything you have tried to fix the problem. When a vehicle sits it can develop several problems, rodents chew up wires and make nests, fuel solidifies and clogs all parts of the fuel system, electrical connections corrode, metal parts rust.
Have you verified it builds and maintains proper fuel pressure?
Have you verified the intake and exhaust plumbing is not clogged?

Yes, I purchased an INNOVA fuel pressure gauge, it checked out fine, there is no evidence of rodent damage, the cables seem fine. I've checked the PCV valve, hoses, wires etc. Unless there's something I can't see or I'm missing. Thanks for responding
Yes, it does have a cat. Good thing is I'm an assistant manager at a major auto parts store, we have many commercial accounts whom I can have clean the injectors for me at a lower cost. Thanks again you guys.
