Hi all...does anyone know the best solution to the leakage problem (of fuel) on my 1986 6.9 return lines/o rings. I understand Ford dealers have a kit to replace all the tees, hoses o rings etc.? Or should I piece it together mysef? thanks craig-z
Well, after hunting and surfing around the net, calling about a dozen dealerships, etc., I have decided to replace all the hoses and tees myself.
I was able to come up with the Napa part #2-18447 as the "kit" that is available to replace all the o rings, tees and such on the 6.9 so now I am on my way to the Oregon City store to pick that up. I will let ya know how it all goes........craig-z
i'm sorry if i haven't been around the forum much i've just been busy workin' and racing. workin' on my home and tryin' to make the ends meet!
pay vs the gas man it is just got us by the wallet! it seems like the more you make the more they take! and its not gettin' any better either!
The gasoline fiasco ........dont get me started....GRRR....anyway. prices are consistently better at the Pilot truck stop at Brooks exit on I-5 and the Arco at the Corvallis exit on I-5, if of course you happen to be in the area, have cash for Arco, and dont mind the truck stop environment, which, by the way, some thief got my card # and went on a shopping spree........
have you been to the nebraska chapter lately? and talked to pat?
i heard omaha was hit with a tornado!
sorry to get off topic! gas prices are up even on this end of the country!
i just bought another small car and its not a ford! and it was cheap! and it keeps me from gettin' up at 3:00 am so my wife can to go to work! and i have to be at the shop at 8 am! not good!
