5.4 7.3 bellhousings?

do they share the same bolt pattern?

Definitely not.

Not that I know personally, but it's been mentioned plenty of times the automatic from a 7.3 will not mate to the gasser blocks.

You can use the internals from a diesel tranny in the gasser tranny during a rebuild, but the bellhousing is definitely different.

He's been wrong before, and he'll be wrong again, but this time he is exactly correct. They have different bellhousings.
