Axle: 73 (they have 10 lug wheels)
Trans C

All info is appreciated! Will post pics soon!

Your truck is a 1989 model and was built in canada. the trans code just tells you which one you have, but you already know that. Im pretty sure the axle code refers to the ratio, there should be a tag on the axle itself that tells what type it is.

Yeah i wanted to know what ratio I had though. Also, I tried to start it today, and when I turned the key to crank it, the solenoid on the firewall would click and the coolant needle would rise, but the truck wouldnt crank. What should I look for?

The ratio is on that tag, at least on the lighter axles it is, if it isn't you can guesstimate by jacking up one wheel and turning it by hand then counting how many times the driveshaft turns in one rotation of the wheel.
first make sure the battery is charged, when they get really old they tend to go dead just sitting there, if it is then its the cable from the solonoid to the starter.

I checked the batts, both were at 12v, should be enough to at least crank slowly. The fender mounted relay clicks and works, so what else is left? Starter?

You can check the starter by running a jumper cable from the + post on the battery to the starter contact, if its good, that will make it crank.
Try checking all the contacts between the batt./relay, relay/starter and make sure the cables aren't shorted to anything. if the contacts are badly corroded or the cable insulation is damaged you should replace the cables.
