Can't find 2wd front end parts online

Does anyone know of a part number, or a good place to look online for front end parts? I found out that my lug studs were loose so i replaced them only to find out that the wholes were the problem not the studs. 2 of the new studs spun after tightening all the way down. Quite fun getting them back off. Don't know if I have to get the whole spindle or can I get a new plate? Looking for new preferably. Any help is most appreciated.

This is for a 65 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive.

Thanks,
Jim

For kicks and giggles try a stud for a 1995 truck for fit. You may have gotten a wrong one, and I believe the later ones used a slightly larger stud.

New lug studs need to be pressed into the front hub...not the spindle. The spindle has nothing to do with it.

The old studs need to be pressed out, if all five are bad, that separates the hub from the drum, then the two pieces are pressed back together using new studs.

A9AZ1107B .. Lug Stud ~ 1/2" -20 x 1 1/2" / Fits most F100's 1948/79 & 1975/96 F150's.

If the holes in the hubs have become oblong, then you'll need studs with fatter serrations = Make sure the threads are the same size as the nuts. 1997 and later studs/nuts are metric.

These studs are available at most autoparts stores.

They are no longer available from Ford, but many dealers still have stock....As a matter of fact, after searching the Ford dealer parts locator network > >

> > Just down the road from you = Tunkhannock Ford has 6 of them.

Thanks for the replies. I really did not want to change the hub if I didn't have to. If I was going to get that far into it, I though about just getting a disc brake conversion. I was able to find some larger studs that worked.

Thanks,
Jim
