Where do you hunt at? I live in Lakeland, Fl not the closet place, but we're always looking for a better place to hunt.

The key is to (lmao) not try to aim. just look directly where you want the arrow to hit, and practice like mad.
some of the best instinctive shooters can hit a half dollar at 75-80 yards, every time. also provides faster response hunting.
it can be compared to learning to throw a ball. hand eye coordination combined with practice...
Edit: Shooting Instinctive
that guy claims to be able to shoot asprin out of the air!
Thats pretty cool. I know what you mean when you say look right where you want the arrow to hit and shoot. I shoot a recurve a few times and that pretty much what I did. I hunt with an old Martin compound with sights and if it wernt for my PMS I would have a nice Mathews or something. But my buddy shots a recurve and I want to get into that because that is an even better feeling when you can shot something at 50 yards and no sights.

I hunt on the St. Johns River with the airboat. Theres some pretty nice deer out there but its pretty hard to find them. I llike it out there becuase there arnt as many people as Bull Creek or other management areas but there is starting to get a lot of people now. I can't wait till September when the season opens up. Any good shots around you?

I lived in Florida (union park) back in the day...we moved to Texas in 2000.
The St. johns river is a great place to hunt and fish, wake up early and fish all day.

When I was younger I saw a bow shooter do trick shots. He shot multipul asprin out of the air along the shoot. He was using a recurve and a traditional wood bow as well.
Was friggen awesome.
I remember it clear as day, and i was only 5 or 6.

Yup sure is. I love getting up early and heading out on the airboat. Its great becuase I live right on a canal that goes out to Lake Washington (A lake that the river runs through) I really love it out there but now days there are getting more and more people out that that dont respect it and abuse it. I hate it when I see a beer cans floating in the River.
