airbag light stays on

I replaced my radio the other day. Now my airbag light is on. I think it is flashing 2 times then 7 time. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

You bumped the bulb in the PAD and broke the filament.

If you can solder, two bucks or so at Radio Shack.

I got the same code and it was a bad bulb in the PAD. Make sure it got plugged back in good and none of the pins were damaged. If it checks out, try this:

You can also do a search on this forum under "airbag code 27" and find instructions and part numbers for LED bulbs without the resistor.

Looking at it doesn't tell you anything useful.

The bulb is now open and needs replacement.
