Parking the truck - what to do?

Looks like I'll be parking the PSD for 4-5 months. Going out of town for work (way out) and won't be taking it. Fill the tanks? Disconnect batteries? I can have my dad come by once in a while and run it if that would be good. What do ya'll recommend?

I've heard that if you have more than 1500 miles on the oil to change it,
there was another thread on this, and had a bunch of suggestions...

I would put some biocide in both tanks and run it for a while to make sure it's all the way through the fuel system. It would be hell to come back and find your tanks, filter assembly and injectors full of algae. Disconnecting the batteries will keep anything from draining them down. It would be a good idea to have some someone drive it around every now and then if you can, it will get oil going through the system and keep everything lubed, it will also keep your tires from developing flat spots from sitting.

Thanks for the reminder, went back and found that thread. Looks like most of that was covered here too.
I'm going to miss the big girl. However, I won't have to buy diesel for awhile and I get to go to work in a helicopter.
