power door locking problem

My dad has a 04 FX4 Supercab. Only the passenger side door will unlock but neither doors will lock. The passenger door will unlock with the remote, drivers switch, and pass. switch. Is there any knowan problems with this? I did a search but couldn't find anything. The lights flash and it chirps when you hit lock twice on the remote so I know it is getting to singal.

It might be something wrong with the driver's door module. However, if you took it to a dealer, they could see what codes are set for the door locks. Or run a self test. Probably run you $75, but might be alot cheaper in the long run.
